Balancing valve TacoSetter
The TacoSetter balancing valve can be connected directly to the
suction port of a pump. With the Taco Setter balancing valve the
flow can easily be adjusted, displayed and shut off.
The flow rate is regulated using a screwdriver at the adjusting screw
(with water in the system). Direct reading of the set volume flow
in l/min with glycol scale (sight glass). The reading position is the
bottom line of the baffle float, - as indicated in photo (A) (red arrow)
.
The flow limiter is factory set to the maximum water flow / fully
open. The position of the notch in the adjusting screw is in the lon-
gitudinal direction of the valve, - as indicated in photo (B).
Note: The system medium must be allowed to flow through the
measuring body for at least 2 hours prior to reading the flow rate
when performing the initial start-up or refilling the system.
Pump, DHW Storage Circuit
The VXe SLS with a storage charging system integrated on the prima-
ry side is factory-fitted with the Grundfos UPM3 circulation pump.
The storage tank is loaded via the factory-installed pump.
The pump is controlled by the cylinder sensor and ECL controller in
combination.
