When the heat pump produces hot water, control must use the
peak sensor in MBH/DWH instead of the heat pump’s peak sensor
Reconnect as follows:
On the heat pump's I/O card, disconnect the connector for the
1
heat pump’s peak sensor at connection 325,326
Pull the MBH/DWH peak sensor cable through the cable grommet
2
in the top panel
Pull the cable in to the heat pump through the cable grommet in
3
the top panel
Connect the MBH/DWH peak sensor connector to the I/O card’s
4
connection 325,326
Coil any excess cabling and secure the cable using a cable tie

Fill and bleed the entire heating system with circulation pump shut off
Then vent MBH/DWH as follows:
Detach the flexible hose at the 3-way clamp ring connector with
1
bleed screw (B) on MBH/DWH and plug the loose hose end
Connect an air hose in the 3-way clamp ring connector bleed
2
screw (B) on MBH/DWH and route it down to a bucket, preferably
one that can overflow into a floor drain or similar
Ensure that HGW shunt in the heat pump is closed
3
Menu SERVICE -> MANUAL TEST -> HGW-SHUNT, set the value to
+
Open the filler for the heating system and allow water to flow
4
through the coil in MBH/DWH
Let the flow run through the loop until there are no air bubbles in
5
the bucket that the air hose is lying in The pipe system to be bled
is long so allow the water to run for a long time when bleeding
Close the filler and reinstall the flexible hose on the 3-way clamp
6
ring connector with bleed screw (B) on MBH/DWH
Bleed the system at all bleed screws on the hose connections on
7
the heat pump and MBH/DWH
Reinstall the fronts
