The DIS in the network
All of the settings described in this chapter are only required if, for example,
you access your DIS with PView via a network, if you use a time server or
if you wish to exchange data via SeMSy.
In order to avoid misconnections or malfunctions in the network,
contact your authorized network administrator before you adjust the
network settings. He will be able to advise you about addresses
used and free addresses and about the correct settings for the
network mask and gateway address.

Common Network settings

Click on
Common settings > Network
Here you can give your system a name and
enter the IP address.
Note also the values for the network mask and
the gateway address.
All entries are made at the virtual keypad.
