Interfaces

Click on the

Common settings > Interfaces

6.5.1

COM port

A controllable camera (e.g. dome) or an operating unit can be connected to
the COM port of the DIS to control playback.

Camera control

Click the COM tab.

Select the Crosslink entry in the Function
field.

The control commands are sent from an external device (or an external
program)

to the DIS via the DaVid protocol.

The DIS then forwards the signal to the camera connected to the serial
output.

Refer to the manual of the respective camera for the adjustable
values of the COM port.
