Security
The camera can be detected automatically in the network and configured with a software
(IP-Finder).
In addition the configuration and display of live images can be carried out with a browser.
Besides the configuration of an appropriate password these functions can be limited in
order to avoid needless risks.
10.4.1
Video
The Video tab allows you to password protect live images and the live video from being
displayed in a web browser.

Open the Camera access dialog via Common settings > Camera access ....
NOTE
The password corresponds to the password entered in the
password dialog Common Settings > Password.
10.4.2
Protocol
If required from external applications / devices the vendor (manufacturer) and type of the
camera protocol can be entered in the Camera protocol tab. Dallmeier and DF3000IP-DN
are set by default.

Open the Camera access dialog via Common settings > Camera access ... > Camera
protocol.
IMPORTANT
These settings are additional specifications for special cases.
They are NOT suitable to prevent network access generally.
