7 SYSTEM MAINTENANCE

7.1 Preventive Maintenance

7.1.1

tHost™

Fan Replacement

Tools required: Philips screwdriver

To replace the fan located at the back panel of the tHost unit please use following steps:

1. Undo four screws that are holding one of fan assembly in place. Please refer to Figure 7-1.

2. Move the fan away from the back panel and remove protective grill with screws (as shown in Figure 7-2).

3. Pull out the cable to expose in-line connector.

4. Undo connector interface and discard old fan.
