6.3  DOR Monitoring, Control and Alarm Functions 

This section provides brief overview of the Monitoring, Control and Alarm functions currently supported by 

GSM900 Frequency Selective Digital Optical Repeater. 

 

 

6.3.1  DOR Control Functions 

The Control functions currently supported by the Repeater are as follows:  

  Channel/Carrier Frequency and digital Gain setting 

  DRU UL (main and diversity) and DL Gain setting 

  DAU DL Input Power low and high threshold settings 

  DAU Operator, Location and Base Station ID settings 

  DAU/DRU IP Address setting 

  DAU/DRU location (long/lat) setting 

  DAU/DRU Serial # setting 

  DAU/DRU Asset Tag settings 

  DAU/DRU Software revision setting 

  DRU Delay compensation setting (manual) 

 

DRU Delay Equalization Function (automatic) 

 

DRU UL Noise Floor Suppression Function

 

ON/OFF setting 

  DRU DL RF Shutdown 

  DRU DL (PA) Temperature threshold setting 

  DRU DL (PA) VSWR threshold setting 

  DRU DL (PA) Output Power low and high threshold
