6.2.2 With the Optional Infrared Floor Sensor 

The relationship between remote controller set temperature and control target temperature is described below.
•

The temperature difference for cooling 

⇔ 

heating mode switching is 5°C (9°F).

•

When using the floor temperature as the control target, the remote controller set temperature is equal to the 
actual control target temperature in heating operation.

•

The above also applies to automatic operation.

When setting the suction air thermistor (Default setting)

„

When using the remote controller thermistor (Field setting is required)

Examples are given to illustrate a control target temperature that satisfies the remote controller set temperature.

Regarding control target temperature

When using the infrared floor sensor, the temperature around people will be treated as the control target 
temperature for operation.

What is the temperature around people?

The temperature around people refers to the temperature of the living space, obtained from the temperature 
around the ceiling and the temperature underfoot. The temperature is calculated using the detected values of the 
suction air thermistor and the infrared floor sensor.
It is difficult to use only suction air temperature control for underfoot air conditioning.
