Setting the Wireless Remote Controller

Introduction

To set the wireless remote controller, you have to set the address for:

Q

The receiver of the wireless remote controller

Q

The wireless remote controller.

Setting the address
for the receiver

The address for the receiver of the wireless remote controller is factory set to 1. To change this setting,
proceed as follows:

Step

Action

1

Turn OFF the power.

2

Remove the sealing pad on the top of the receiver.

3

Set the wireless address switch (SS2) according to the table below. You can find the wire-
less address switch attached on the PCB of the receiver and it is visible through the small
opening on the back of the receiver.

4

If you use a wired and a wireless remote controller for one indoor unit, proceed as fol-
lows:

1. Set the wired remote controller to MAIN: On the remote controller.
2. Set the wireless remote controller to SUB: On the receiver with the MAIN/SUB switch

(SS1).

5

Seal off the opening of the address switch and the MAIN/SUB switch with the attached
sealing pad.

6
