Removal Procedure

Removal of the

Four Way Valve

Procedure

Warning

Be sure to wait 10 minutes or more after turning off all power
supplies before disassembling work.

Step

Procedure

Points

1. Remove the peripheries.

Remove the followings
so as not to be burned
by a gas brazing
machine.

Four way valve coil

Electronic
expansion valve coil

Putty

Loosen the screw and
remove the four way
valve coil.

Remove the sheet of
putty.

Before working,
make sure that the
refrigerant is empty
in the circuit.

Heat up four brazed
parts of the four way
valve and disconnect in
(a)(b)(c)(d) order. (See
the next page also.)

Provide a protective sheet or
a steel plate so that the
brazing flame cannot
influence peripheries.

Withdraw the piping
side by pliers.

Be careful so as not to break
pipes by pressing it
excessively by pliers when
withdrawing it.
