Appendix C ---SAMBA Share Implementation in Windows

SAMBA and central management implementation

3016X internet intelligent storage device provides SAMBA share just like a network disk. When it

works with central management software, you need to map it to local disk partition. Please follow

the steps below.

1).Access the SAMBA share of the 3016X internet intelligent storage device.

Open IE browser and input 3016X internet intelligent storage device IP address in the address

column as \\10.6.5.88. System will pops up a dialogue box for you to input user name and

password. Now you can see the following interface. See Figure 9-1. There is a SAMBA share ftp.

Right click ftp and then select map network drive. See Figure 9-2.
