INSPECTIONS / ADJUSTMENTS
COOLANT LEVEL INSPECTION
●
Erect the main stand prior to beginning work.
●
Check the coolant level of the reserve tank.
●
The level should be between the “UPPER” and
“LOWER” level lines.
●
Fill the coolant with the reserve tank up to the
“F” (upper level).
•
Unless the coolant is refilled or replaced, the engine
temperature too high or low.
•
Fill to the “F”(UPPER LEVEL) line.
●
Start the engine. Bleed air from the coolant and check
the level of coolant.
●
Install the radiator cap.
●
Fill the coolant with the reserve tank up to the upper
level.
COOLANT REPLACEMENT
●
Remove the drain bolt and drain the coolant. (Tilt the
vehicle to the right in order to assure complete and
rapid draining.)
●
Remove the radiator cap.
●
Install the drain bolt.
●
Fill the radiator with new coolant.
