Caution
SNMP alarm traps behaviour
When “Automatically close alarms” is selected, then the behaviour is as follows:
Alarm appears
open alarm trap is sent
Alarm disappears
closed alarm trap is sent
When “Automatically close alarms” is
not
selected, then the behaviour is as follows:
Alarm appears
open alarm trap is sent
Alarm disappears (but nobody closes it on the DL/PDL)
nothing happens
Alarm appears again
nothing happens
Alarm disappears, and the operator closes it manually
nothing happens
Alarm appears again
open alarm trap is sent again
9.3.9 Analytics configuration
If the Analytics-SW is installed after the DL/PDL,
it is possible to upload the data to Analytics acc.
to this table.
An import of 30 days of data easily can be > 90
Mbit/s and take longer than 90 minutes.
Caution
To avoid conflicts and ease the configuration effort, the forwarding of messages via email and
SMS are blocked if a Analytics-SW connection is configured. These functions are available from
the Analytics-SW.
In case the Analytics-SW is used the
IP address/URL of the server has to be
configured and the update interval of
the data towards the Analytics-SW. We
recommend in case of a GSM
connection a low update rate e.g. > 1h,
in case of a corporate intranet
connectivity < 1h.
Click save button after changing
parameters.
Per Default the URL of the Analytics-
SW in the public internet is configured.
