Caution
The number of the sensor and the related data need to consistent with the real Installation in the
tower. Example: The named sensor
on port one (1) of the JBx
needs to be equal to the data
entered for the
sensor one (1) of JBx edited in the sensor
configuration menu and equal with
the
physical connection of sensor one (1) at port one (1)
of the JB.
The fixed sensor number is equal to the port number of the JBx.
The Sensor name is the combination of the Junction Box name (“JB-Name”) and the
given “Sensor Number”.
The configuration of the sensor is divided into 3 fields:
Field 1: General Data
Field 2: Alarm Thresholds
Field 3 Calibration Data
General Data:
Select the sensor model related to the correct port of the JB: port n of the JBx has to be
equal to the number of the sensor JBx in this menu.
Enter the type of the sensor, marked on the sensor.
Enter the serial number of the sensor, marked on the sensor.
Enter a sensor name at your free choice, recommendation: Name related to the
antenna.
Enter the antenna/splitter name where the sensor is connected, recommendation: select
the same as used in the operator documentation.
Alarm Threshold:
Set the threshold for a degraded alarm indication.
Set the threshold for a failure alarm indication, causing an urgent alarm.
Set the threshold for a high power PTx alarm indication (if desired).
Set the threshold for a low power PTx alarm indication (if desired).
Caution
If the alarm threshold for PTx are set, the field “power at reference frequency” must be set.
Calibration Data:
The calibration data are required to calculate properly the transmission power PTx. Each sensor
model has default calibration values,
the frequency band
and the
operation frequency
need
to be entered to get a meaningful power value. If several channels are transmitted, enter the
average frequency. Example: 510 MHz and 570 MHz enter 540 MHz.
For
exact calibration
of the specific sensor used, the operator can directly enter the following
data:
New reference frequency which is equal to the operation frequency
The power at the sensor at this frequency
