D-Link KVM-410 User Manual

Section - Admin Programs

Windows Client

A Windows-based Client software utility is provided on the distribution CD included in the package. To install the
Windows Client:

1. Open the folder where the Windows Client setup icon is located and double click the icon. The Windows Client

installation screen appears:

Click Next

and follow the on-screen instructions. When the installation completes, a KVM-410 Windows Client

icon appears on your desktop.

3. Double Click the Windows Client icon, a dialog box appears requiring you to input a serial number. The serial

number can be found on the KVM-410 CD case.

Click OK

In order for the Windows Client to install properly, you must have DirectX 7.0 or higher installed on your computer. If
it is not installed, the client program will not load.
