D-Link KVM-410 User Manual

Section  - Admin Programs

If the KVM-410 that you want to configure is listed 
in the 

KVM-410 devices

 section, Double-Click the 

device  name  to  configure  it.    If  the  unit  does  not 
appear in the list box, key in the IP Address in the 

KVM-410 address

 field, the port number in the 

Port

 

box, and 

Click Login

.

Clicking  the  Refresh  button  will  cause  the  utility 
to rescan the local LAN for KVM-410 devices.  If 
the utility fails to connect to a unit it detects, it will 
attempt to assign the unit a different IP address and 
reconnect.

If  the  utility  finds  a  KVM-410  that  has  a  fixed  IP 
address from a network segment different than the 
local LAN, it will list the unit but will be unable to 
connect to it.  You should change the IP address of 
that unit to match the local LAN segment.

The KVM-410 Administrative Tool searches for KVM-410 devices installed on the local LAN segment.  Once the 
program has started, it displays the KVM-410 devices it found in a window similar to the one shown below:
