D-Link DWR-112 User Manual

Section 2 - Installation

If you are using a 3G USB adapter to connect to the Internet, please follow these steps:

1. Move the switch on the side of the DWM-112 to the

position.

2. Insert your 3G USB adapter into the USB port on the top of the DWR-112.

3. Use an Ethernet cable to connect your computer to Port 2 on the DWM-112.
4. Connect the power adapter to the DWM-112, and plug the power adapter into a power outlet. Wait about one minute

for the router to boot.

5. Check to make sure that the LEDs for Power and Port 2 are lit. If they are not lit, check your connections and make

sure your computer and the DWM-112 are all turned on.

6. Open a web browser and go to

192.168.0.1

. Enter

admin

as the user name, leave the password blank, then click

the

Login

button to open the configuration interface.

7. For more information on configuring the DWM-112 in 3G Mode, please refer to “Internet Connection Setup Wizard

(3G Mode)” on page
