errdisable recovery
Use the
errdisable recovery
command to enable and configure the error
recovery function. Use the no command to disable the auto recovery for causes
or to return interval to default setting for causes.
errdisable recovery cause {all | loopback-detection} [interval

If enabled, the Interval is 300 seconds

Usage Guideline
A port can be put in error disabled state (an operational state that is similar to the
link-down state) by causes such as loopback detection.
A port in error disabled state can not transmit nor receive any packets.
An error disabled port can be either manual recovered or automatically restored
by using this command.
The user can enter
shutdown
and then
no shutdown
commands to recover an
interface manually from the error-disabled state.
If auto recovery is enabled for a specific cause, the port error disabled by that
caused will be auto recovered once the cause have timed out.
Example
This example shows how to set the recovery timer to 200 seconds for port
loopback-detection.

Specifies the configure auto recovery for all causes.

Specifies the configure auto recovery of error report caused by
loopback-
detection
interval
SECONDS
Specifies the time, in seconds, to recover the port from an error state caused by
the specified module. The valid value is 30 to 86400.
