config log_save_timing
Purpose
Used to configure the method to save log.
Syntax
config log_save_timing [time_interval <min 1-65535> | on_demand | log_trigger]
Description
This command is used to set the method to save log.
Parameters
time_interval

save log to flash every xxx minutes. (if no log happen in this period, don't
save)
on_demand
−
save log to flash whenever user type "save log" or "save all" This is also the
default.
log_trigger
−
save log to flash whenever log arrives
Restrictions
Only Administrator and Operator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To configure log_save_timing:
DES-3528:admin# config log_save_timing on_demand
Command: config log_save_timing on_demand
Success.

show log_save_timing
Purpose
Used to show the timing method to save log.
Syntax
show log_save_timing
Description
This command is used to show method to save log.
Parameters
None.
Restrictions
None.
Example usage:
To show log_save_timing:
DES-3528:admin# show log_save_timing
Command: show log_save_timing
Saving Log Method: On_demand

show attack_log
Purpose
Used to show dangerous log messages.
Syntax
show attack_log {unit <unit_id 1-8>} {index <value_list>}
Description
This command is used to show content of dangerous log messages.
Parameters
unit
– Specifies the unit of which the attack_log will be show. if it is not specified, it refers to
the master unit.
value_list X-Y

The show log command will display the dangerous log messages between
the log number of X and Y. For example, show dangerous log index 1-5 will display the
dangerous log messages from 1 to 5.
If no parameter specified, all dangerous log entries will be displayed.
Restrictions
None.
Example usage:
To show dangerous messages on master:
