Chapter 3: Basic Connections and Wiring
External connection
Rain sensor mounting
STEPS :
- Before unmounting the rain sensor, ensure the sensor is dry (no rain).
- Unscrew the 4 screws under the rain sensor.
- Pass the wire through the cable gland.
- Skin the 4 wires (orange, blue, white/orange and white/blue) at 0.2" (5mm).
- Cut the drain wire.
- Sensor wires must not exceed 100 feet (30.48 meters).
- Connect wire on terminal blocks like the diagram shown at right.
- Replace all the parts together and ensure that o-ring is in place. Re-install the
4 screws and tighten the cable gland.

NOTES :
- Make sure the Alignment Notch is pointing North.
- Bracket can be mount on a 1.5" SCH 80 PVC Pipe
- Ensure that there are no obstacles around the sensors for proper
sensing of the wind and rain.
