7. Separate the touch screen plug from the touch screen connector, and
lay the touch screen aside.
Note The touch screen plug is attached to the unit, and the touch screen
connector is attached to the touch screen.
If you are replacing touch
screen or backlight bulb, you do not need to remove the backshell.
Skip the remaining steps and refer to the appropriate section of this
chapter. For information on replacing the touch screen, see page 55;
for information about replacing the backlight bulb, see page 55.
8. Place the unit face down on a clean surface to avoid scratching the
LCD display.
9. Remove the flash drive by grasping its left side and sliding it out of the
slot towards you.
