P1 PowerStation User Guide
Backlight Bulb
The P1 PowerStation’s backlight bulb has an average life expectancy of
10,000 hours. CTC carries replacement bulbs that you can easily replace
without removing the unit from its enclosure. See Replacing the Backlight
Bulb on page 55.
Optional Components
CTC carries two optional components that you may wish to purchase for
the P1 PowerStation, an AC power supply and a PC/104 adapter.
AC Power Supply
The P1 PowerStation uses DC power to save space and limit the amount of
heat generated by the unit. However, if you require the P1 PowerStation to
use AC power, you can purchase an AC power supply kit that includes an
AC power supply and a power cord. You can also purchase mounting
brackets for the power supply. See Preparing to Use an AC Power Supply
on page 42.
PC/104 Card
The P1 PowerStation has been outfitted with a PC/104 adapter for commu-
nicating with 8-bit and 16-bit PC/104 cards. PC/104 cards are manufac-
tured by numerous companies for a variety of purposes. See Installing the
PC/104 Adapter on page 44.
