9 Input Format, Input Loss and
Test Pattern Options
9.1 Input Format and On Loss of Input
All apps provide an Input Format control. If set to ‘All’, any input format present is deemed
valid. If set to a single format, any input format present which does not match the selected
format is deemed invalid, upon which the ‘On loss of input’ function is triggered.
In the example below, if the source input format is not 1920x1080i 50Hz, the output will be
replaced with colour bars.
