DISASSEMBLING THE FRONT BRAKE

CALIPERS

WARNING:

• Brake caliper is one of the most important

security components. Disassembly and
maintenance must have a rich e perience in
technolo y and complete tool.

•Wron disassembly and reassembly may
cause serious in ury and even death.

a. Blow compresse air into the hose oint
opening to force out the caliper piston from
the rake caliper o y.

WARNING:

•  ever try to pry out a caliper piston.

not to  et in ured when the piston is e pelled
from the caliper cylinder.

b. Remove the dust seals and caliper piston

seals.

WARNING:

All internal brake components should be

cleaned in new brake fluid only. Do not use

solvents as they will cause seals to swell and

distort.

Scratches/rust/wear

Replace the brake

caliper assembly.
