GB/IE 11
Remove the insoles and carefully brush the inside and
outside of the shoes. Then leave the shoes to dry by
themselves. Do not use a hair dryer or another heating
device to accelerate the drying process, as this may
damage the shoes.
After skating you should clean your ball bearings with
a dry cloth. Wet or moist ball bearings must be dried
with a clean cloth. Grease the bearings from the out-
side using a suitable bearing lubricant to avoid the
external build-up of rust. Bearings are generally en-
closed and cannot be lubricated from the inside. Worn
ball bearings must be replaced.

Wheels or bearings running noisily
Detach the wheel from the frame, remove it and
clean the ball bearings with a dry cloth.
Wheels wear out quickly
Smooth surfaces extend the lifespan of the wheels.
Try using harder wheels for harder surfaces and use
under difficult conditions.
Wheels become blocked
Do not over-tighten the axle screws.
Skate pulls to the left or right
This can be down to the user him/herself. Replace
wheels showing signs of wear on one side.
The brake does not function properly
Replace the brake if the angle between the brake
and the ground is more than 40 degrees, i.e. if the
distance between the brake block and the ground
becomes too large (>17 mm). Brakes that have be-
come rounded must be replaced for new ones.
Braking problems
Always keep sufficient distance. The quicker you
skate, the longer your braking distance. Make sure
that you understand the braking techniques and
practice them on even ground.
You keep turning your ankle
Ensure that the laces are sufficiently tight.
Problems with your foot
You may not be used to this type of movement.
Check for areas that are causing you pain and re-
adjust the inline skates. Try wearing thick socks.
