9. Canopy Assembly (with downrod).
10. Blade Assembly.
Locate 2 screws on underside of hanging bracket
and remove screw closest to the open end of the
hanging bracket. Partially loosen the other screw.
Lift canopy to hanging bracket. Place rounded part
of slotted hole in canopy over loosened screw in
hanging bracket and push up. Twist canopy to lock.
Re-insert screw that was removed, and then tighten
both screws securely.
Proceed to Step 10 below.
Grab the fan firmly with two hands. Raise motor
housing to mounting plate and align slotted
holes in motor housing with loosened screws in
mounting plate. Twist motor housing to lock.
Re-insert 2 screw/washers that were previously
removed and secure all screws with a Phillips
screwdriver.
Re-install blade arms using screw/washers
previously removed (page 6, Section 6) and
secure all screws with a Phillips screwdriver.
Proceed to Step 10 below.
Time Saver:
Washers for blade screws can be
set on each blade screw prior to installing
blades.
Locate 15 blade attachment screws and
washers in one of the hardware packs. Place
blade on top of blade arm, aligning holes in
blade arm with holes in blade as shown.
Insert 3 blade attachment screws (along with
washers) with fingers first and then tighten
screws securely with a Phillips screwdriver.
Repeat procedure for remaining blades.
Note
: Tighten blade arm screws twice a year.
