8.USE
This cabinet was designed and manufactured exclusively for the display of ice creams and deep frozen foods in the LT
version and for the display of fresh pre-packed foods in the MT version. Its function is holding food temperature, not
lowering it. Therefore, when loaded, the foods MUST ALREADY BE AT THEIR PRESERVATION TEMPERATURE.
This is why foods that have undergone heating must never be introduced in the cabinet. Use padded gloves when hand-
ling ice-creams and frozen food.
For best cabinet operation, we recommend:
• loading the products as explained in the previous section;
• never leaving doors open or ajar (fig. 13 on page 9). It is ADVISABLE to frequently check that all doors are closed in
order to avoid unnecessary energy consumption, frost build-up on walls and also for better food preservation.
Defrost water is collected by a drain tube and conveyed to an evaporation tray located in the base of the cabinet.
Regularly check that defrost water flows off normally.
If it does not, unclog by the use of a blunt flexible probe.
