3. Current versions are shown in the top fields.
4. If the Hard Lock firmware or bootloader version is different (lower) from that displayed in
the yellow lines (Available software upgrade version), press “QUICK FIRMWARE DOWNLO-
AD PC-RADIO (Box cover close)”.
5. The update will start.
6. Wait until the procedure is completed.
7. When the procedure has been completed, press ENTER and exit the Service programme.
Setup
Clicking on the “Setup” button displays the window with the following setup functions:
• The service program working language
To set the working language, proceed as follows:
- Click the left-hand key of the mouse on the name of the language currently selected.
- Use the up
↑ and down ↓ arrows to select the language required
To confirm all the settings made, click on the OK button. You will be asked if you are sure of
the setting(s) made; click on Yes to confirm or No to not confirm the settings.
About
Clicking on the “About” button displays the window showing the release, date and time of
generation of the service program.
ATTENTION
None of the procedures described below require the re-installation of the Operating
System.
DATABANK UPGRADE
The databank upgrade simultaneously also upgrades the wheel aligner software.
To perform the upgrade, the “Databank upgrade kit” must be obtained.
The kit contains a CD-ROM with the installation software, a SIM CARD and the instruction
leaflet.
1) Exit the aligner application to access the operating system.
2) Remove the main SIM CARD from the Hard Lock.
3) Insert the update SIM CARD into the Hard Lock.
4) Insert the CD-ROM into the drive and wait for the software installation programme to
auto-run.
5) When you restart the software, you will be prompted to insert the main SIM CARD and
then the update SIM CARD.
6) You will be prompted to insert the main SIM CARD.
7) The update procedure will continue as usual.
8) Remove the CD-ROM from the drive.
INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE UPGRADE
The software upgrade procedure upgrades the wheel aligner software and the structu-
res of the files in the client and previous jobs databanks.
- To perform the upgrade, the wheel aligner software installation CD-ROM in the “Sof-
