vertical blank. It is recommended that the grab status bit GSTAT in this register be monitored to determine when the
acquisition is complete.
3.5.1.5 New Acquire (NEWAQ) R-O
This bit is set to one whenever a snap or grab command is written to the ACQMD bits and is cleared automatically
when acquisition begins.
NEWAQ
Function
0
No acquire pending
1
Acquire pending
3.5.1.6 Grab Status (GSTAT) R-O
This bit provides acquisition status. When using the frame count bits (FCNT) to acquire multiple frames, the acquire
command bits (ACQMD) should be used to monitor the status of the acquire. The grab status bit GSTAT is set only
during the active portion of vertical blank for multi-frame acquires and therefore should not be used to determine
acquire status.
GSTAT
Function
0
No acquire in progress

3.5.1.7 Field Start Status (FLDSTART) R-O
This status bit reflects which field an interlaced acquisition started on.
FLDSTART
Function
0
Acquire started on even field
1
Acquire started on odd field
3.5.1.8 Previous Field Start Status (PREVFLDSTART) R-O
This bit latches the state of the FLDSTART bit at the time the end of field interrupt is set. This bit is useful in multiple
frame acquires, to track the field status of more than one frame.
PREVFLDSTART
Function
0
Acquire started on even field
1
Acquire started on odd field
3.5.1.9 Acquisition Vertical Blank Status (AMVBSTAT) R-O
The AMVBSTAT bit reflects status of the vertical blank from the AM interface, used to frame the video input to
memory.

Function
0
