The Copland DRC205 and the internal Dynaton DDRC-Module can be updated with new
firmware via the Computer (See Rear panel # 2). This secures that you continuously are able
to have the latest Dynaton Digital Room Compensation engine installed in your Copland
DRC205 hereby enabling a long lifetime without the risk of having an obsolete product.
Important note: To perform firmware update of the Copland DRC205 and the
DDRC engine, you must have your serial number available, as the software is
copy-protected. (Your products serial number is located on the Rear panel # 7)
Important note: Your Copland DRC205 is loaded with the DDRC V2 dual-module
engine by delivery and does only work with dual-module compliant upgrades!
(Downloading a single-module revision of the DDRC engine will result in your
Copland DRC205 will not work properly.)
Important note: Information and software for future firmware updates will be made
public on the Copland web-site (copland.dk).
To run the upgrade software select DRC_205_UPDATE.EXE and run the software. Follow the
recommendations during the upgrade process.
The present software dialog box appears as follows:
Make sure that the COM-port is the correct one (must be the same as when the Copland
DRC205 is operated by a PC/computer).
