: Normally the software automatically finds and checks your
PC/computer’s available COM-ports. However, if you are using other devices (e.g.
a MODEM) on a COM-port, this may cause the software automatic COM-port
identification to fail.
In case that your Copland DRC205 is correctly connected, powered up and the software is
installed and the above warning appears, then you should change COM-port settings on the
Copland Control panel software.
This is done by the roll-down menu on the upper right corner of the below screen.

Connect
Change the COM-port setting to another available COM-port in the [COM-port roll-down
menu], if the Copland DRC205 is not automatically identified.
When connection is established, the Copland DRC205 is ready to be operated from the above
software screen.
You may force the Copland DRC205 and the PC/computer to connect by pressing
[CONNECT]. This may often be an advantage in case that the software does not automatically
identify the COM-port and automatically establish connection between Copland DRC205 and
the PC/computer.
