Example of a Target Curve : All the available types of filters may be combined to design a
Target Curve filter.
Note: By combining different filters virtually any shape for the Target Curve may be
designed. There are no restrictions and disadvantages in the combination of
different Filter types.

Listening to Target Curves : When designing a Target Curve you can listen to the resulting
sound.
This may be done by pressing [ SEND ] after having changed a filter parameter.
Important note: In case audible distortion occurs after having pressed [SEND],
then change the settings back to a Target Curve where no distortion occurs.
Design tip: In case of distortion occurring – try to use attenuation of the
frequencies that a without problems and hereby decreasing the total output level.
Compensate for the reduced SPL by turning upwards on the volume control of
your amplifier instead!
Storing Target Curves to Copland DRC205 :
Target Curves can be stored by pressing [ STORE ] in the Control panel, hereby the target
curve is send to P1 when P1 is selected – or to P2 when P2 is selected.
