6.1
Removing the IPC from the Enclosure
If necessary, remove the IPC from the enclosure as follows to route and connect wires and
cables.
The top of the IPC faces the left-side of the enclosure; the bottom faces the right-side as shown in
Figure 1.

1.
Verify power is disconnected to the IPC-8000 enclosure.
2.
Disconnect all cables to the IPC.
3.
Remove the IPC from its mounting plate as follows:
a.
Loosen the locking tabs on the bottom of the IPC and ensure they are clear of the
mounting plate located below the unit. Refer to Figure 2.
b.
Slide the IPC towards the left side of the enclosure until the mounting pins are free of
the mounting plate keyholes.
c.
Detach the IPC from the mounting plate by pulling it out of the mounting plate towards
you.
