Mounting the IPC-8000
1.
Determine a location for the IPC-8000 enclosure based on the site’s Installation Design Plan.
2.
Mark and drill mounting holes for screws and anchors (not included) to mount the enclosure
to the selected location. Refer to Figure 1 to identify the keyhole locations on the IPC-8000
enclosure.
3.
Open and remove the IPC-8000 enclosure door.
4.
Mount the enclosure at the selected location.
5.
Reinstall the enclosure door.
DO NOT POSITION THE IPC-8000 PANEL IN A
HAZARDOUS AREA
.
Use care to avoid damage to the IPC during installation. Use
caution to prevent dust and dirt contamination of the IPC-
8000 during installation; contamination can interfere with
normal operations and reduce the life of the equipment.
As a minimum, use #10 screws secured to studs for both top and
bottom screw locations.
