Air source is a kind of low-grade energy which exists widely and can be equally supplied and
freely applied. Via heat pump circulation, it can potentially developed into a new kind of energy
saving and environment friendly technology with practical value.
Air source heat pump water heater according to heat pump principle will consume a part of
electric energy for compensation and obtain heat from low-grade energy (low-temperature air
source) around. The heat will be sent to condenser and released to high-temperature heat source to
generate hot water. With the same working principle as heat pump water heater, heat pump air
conditioner obtains heat from natural environment which will be supplied to indoor air. However,
heat pump water heater heats domestic water by this part of heat, so it’s EER is at least 2 times
higher than conventional electric water heater. Heat pump water heater is a kind of high efficiency,
energy saving and environment friendly product.
Heat pump unit usually consists of compressor, water side heat exchanger, air side heat exchanger,
throttling device, high/low pressure accumulator and so on. Air source heat pump water heater
consists of heat pump unit, insulated water tank, water pump, other relative pipeline valves, etc.
