Heat Exchanger Inspection

Description

A heat exchanger is located in each top cooling zone. Examine the heat 

exchanger to ensure that it is free of surface debris. It is usually not necessary to 

clean the heat exchanger weekly, but cleaning is dependent on process 

conditions. If cleaning is necessary, refer to the section on Heat Exchanger 

Cleaning in the chapter on Monthly Maintenance, 5 – 53.
