Vacuum Hood Exhaust Fans

Introduction

For optimal performance, vacuum the surfaces of the hood exhaust fans to 

remove dust or debris monthly — approximately every 170 hours of operation. 

The fans are located on the inside of the top of the hood. 

Electrical Hazard

Ensure that power is removed from the machine before performing the following 

procedure. Electricity is present at the fans and may expose personnel to harmful 

voltage levels. 

Tools or Materials 

Needed

• Shop Vacuum

Procedure

Access the fans by raising the hood of the Bravo™ 8105. Use a shop vac to 

vacuum the surface of the fan and the area around the fan.
