Electrical Hazard
Ensure that power is not applied to the machine before performing the following procedure. Failure
to remove power exposes personnel to dangerous voltage levels.
Introduction
It is possible for the wires that are connected to the electrical connectors to
become loose during production use. To ensure that a safety hazard does not
exist, torque the appropriate connections semi–annually as part of the preventive
maintenance on the machine.
Before Torquing
Visually inspect all electrical connections first to see if any are noticeably loose or
damaged. There are electrical components in the electrical cabinet as well as on
the rear of the chamber where the blowers are wired. Check for any debris that
may have fallen onto a connection. Clean out any dust or particulate matter using
compressed air.
After cleaning, torque the Terminal Blocks, Circuit Breakers and SSR’s to the
specifications in Torque Specifications on page 55.

Torquing Procedure
The terminal block connections are located in the electrical cabinet located on the
front of the Bravo™ 8105.
Using a torque wrench, torque all terminal blocks connections to 2.0 Nm (18.0
in.–lbs.).
Torque the M6 terminal blocks to 0.6 Nm (5.3 in.–lbs.)
Continue with the remaining components in the table, torquing to the
specifications listed above.
