5.1 Operator’s preventive maintenance
The inspections made directly by the operator are the following:

Check to ensure that there is no
external damage to the equipment,
which could jeopardise the safety of

Clean and dry platens, distance
piece and ram of the frame from the

Check the status of the hydraulic
tubes against leakages and damages Operator Weekly
Check status of the safety devices:
EMERGENCY BUTTON , max.
pressure valve, piston over travel
switch and relevant cable on the
frame, front door and rear
transparent guard on the frame
(refer to chapter 5.1.1 for their
identification)

Check status and functioning of the
operator's commands Operator Weekly
Check the level of the oil in the
tank (see chapter 5.1.2) Operator Monthly
Check that all label and rating
plates are intact and properly

NOTE:
Previous table indicates also the maintenance actions to be performed on the frames
normally connected to the control console.
