4.7.1

Configuration 1

This configuration allows two Unidrive SPM drives to be connected to two separate
motors or alternatively, will allow the drives to be paralleled together to run a larger
motor.
For example as shown in Figure 4-7 an d Figure 4-8, if drive 1 is connected to Motor 1
and drive 2 is connected to Motor 2, drive 1 and 2 can be paralleled together to run a
larger motor (Motor 3).

* An additional SPM paralleling cable will need to be obtained for this configuration, as
each SM-Control Slave module and SPM Power Selector Module is supplied with one
paralleling cable as standard.
