2.5 Placing the Wireless WaterSiren Sensor
The Wireless WaterSiren Sensor that came with the Wireless WaterAlarm package is
already “joined” to the Base Station. Place the sensor in the desired location and press
the “test” button on the sensor. If the indicator light is “green”, the sensor is
communicating properly with the Base Station. If the indicator light flashes “red”, you
will need to reposition the sensor or move the Base Station closer to the sensor(s).
Notes About Positioning the Sensor:
The sensor pad on the bottom of the WaterSiren sensor can be detached and placed
remotely (6’/1.8m wire included). This allows the audible alarm to be positioned in a
vertical orientation for maximum sound. This also allows the round WaterSiren to be
positioned for strongest signal to the Base Station.
IMPORTANT WARNING! After Programming, you
must return the STANDBY/ON switch to the ON
position or the Wireless WaterAlarm will not call you
if an alarm condition occurs and you will be unable to
call into your Wireless WaterAlarm remotely!
