b) "ZONE" function (calibration and speed alarm)
Press the "SEL" button (C) in "PEDO" mode until "ZONE" is displayed at the bottom.

Two calibrations have to be performed for running and walking. Carry out the
calibration at the running or walking speed at which you want to perform the
training later.
The more steadily you walk, the better/more accurate the displayed values.
We recommend calibrating over a longer distance (max. distance is 1 km).
For calibration, attach the heart rate monitor to the wrist to which it will be
attached during training.
• Hold down the "SET" button (A) for about 3 seconds. "LOWER LIMIT" is displayed
and the lower limit value is flashing.
The lower limit and the upper limit determine when an alarm signal will be
played (alarm function can be switched on/off).
• Use the "SEL" button (C) to set the lower limit. (Hold it down for quick changes.)
• Press the "SET" button (A). "UPPER LIMIT" is displayed and the upper limit value is
flashing.
• Use the "SEL" button (C) to set the upper limit. (Hold it down for quick changes.)
• Press the "SET" button (A). "CALI FOR RUNNING?" is displayed and "NO" is flashing
at the bottom.
