3. Symbols

A lightning-bolt symbol in a triangle indicates a health hazard, e.g. danger of an electric
shock.

The exclamation mark in a triangle indicates particular risks in handling, operating and con-
trol.

The hand symbol indicates special tips and operating information.
4. Safety Notices
 The guarantee will be void if damage is incurred resulting from non-compliance with
these operating instructions! We will not assume any responsibility for consequential
damage!

We do not assume any liability for personal injury or damage to property caused by
incorrect handling or non-observance of the safety instructions. In such cases the
warranty/guarantee is void.
• Electronic devices are no toys and should be kept out of the reach of children!
• Please contact qualified personnel if you are unsure about the safety, connection or the
correct operation of the product.
• Never let the packaging material lie around unattended. Plastic foils/bags etc. can become
dangerous toys for children, there is risk of suffocation.
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, disconnect the
appliance immediately and secure it against inadvertent operation.
• It must be assumed that the safe operation is no longer possible, if:
- the device shows visible damage
- the device no longer functions
- the device was stored under unfavourable conditions over a long period of time or
- following considerable stress during transportation.
• On industrial sites, the accident prevention regulations of the association of the industrial
workers’ society for electrical equipment and utilities must be followed.
• The solar panel is suitable for outdoor use (IP43). The power station must not get damp
or wet.
• Maintenance, adjustments and repairs may only be carried out by a qualified specialist or
a specialised repair shop.
• In case you have questions which are not answered in this manual, please contact our tech-
nical service or other specialists.
• The solar module generates electricity when exposed to light.
• Ensure that no mechanic forces impact the solar module. Solar modules can be damaged
by bending, putting them on top of each other, stepping on them, falls from a low height or
pressure
