INSTALLATION OF THE APPLIANCE
The instructions below are intended for a qualified professional who will install the appliance. The purpose of
these instructions is to carry out the activities associated with the installation and maintenance of the appliance as
professionally as possible.
• If the appliance is used intensively and for a long time, it may be necessary to open a window to improve
ventilation.
• Liquid gas is heavier than air and therefore tends to accumulate in the lower positions. Rooms in which liquefied
gas cylinders (bombs) have been installed should be equipped with ventilation ducts led out of the room to allow
gas to escape in the event of a leak. For the same reason, gas cylinders, both empty and partially filled, should not
be installed or stored in rooms located below the ground (e.g. in cellars). The gas cylinders must not be located near
heat sources (stoves, fireplaces, ovens, etc.) that could increase the temperature inside the cylinder above 50 °C.
• Due to the protection against overheating of the surrounding surfaces, the gas cooker is a class X appliance, and
as such can be built into a set of furniture only up to the height of the worktop, i.e. approx. 850 mm from the floor.
Installation above this level is undesirable.
Positioning the cooker
• The kitchen room must be dry and airy, and must have effective ventilation in accordance with the applicable
technical regulations.
• The room should be equipped with a ventilation system to remove fumes generated during burning. This
installation should include a ventilation grille or hood. Hoods must be installed in accordance with the operating
instructions supplied with them. The position of the cooker should guarantee free access to all controls.
• The room should also have a supply of air, which is necessary for proper burning (combustion) of the gas. The
air supply should not be less than 2 m³/h per 1 kW of burner output. Air can be supplied by direct flow from the
outside through a duct with a cross section of min. 100 cm², or directly from adjacent rooms, which are equipped
with ventilation ducts leading outwards.
The furniture around the cooker must have a lining and an adhesive for gluing it resistant to a temperature of 100 °C.
Failure to comply with this condition may cause the surface to deform or the lining to peel off. If we are not sure about
the heat resistance of the furniture, it is necessary to install the cooker with furniture at a distance of about 2 cm. The
wall behind the cooker must be adapted to withstand high temperatures. During use of the cooker, its rear wall may
heat up to a temperature about 50 °C higher than the ambient temperature.
• The cooker must be placed on a hard, flat floor (not on a pedestal).
• Before starting operation, it is necessary to set the cooker to a perfect horizontal position, which has an
extraordinary effect, for example, on the even spreading of the fat in the pan. For this purpose, there are positioning
feet, accessible after pulling out the drawer. Regulation range of +/- 5 mm.
