Place dishes in the dishwasher as follows:
• Place cups, glasses, pots etc. upside down.
• Place convex or hollow dishes at an angle to allow water to drain away.
• Dishes must stay fi rm and must not sway.
• Dishes must not prevent spray arms from rotating.
Do not wash very small dishes in the dishwasher as they might fall out of racks easily.
Removing dishes
In order to prevent water and water droplets from running down from the upper rack onto dishes in the lower rack, it is
recommended to fi rst remove dishes from the lower rack and then from the upper racks.

For dishwashing larger items (pots, pans etc.) tilt plate holders in the lower rack (Figure 8).
