RF Inhibit Polarity
This selection enables the polarity of the external RF inhibit to be inverted. The auxiliary
interface connector on the rear panel of the amplifier has a set of pins 10 and 12 that
controls the external RF inhibit function of the amplifier. This is configured at the factory
for closure between these two pins to cause an external RF inhibit. This is configurable
through this option to require a closure between these pins for RF to be enabled.
Test Summary Fault
Touching this button will create a momentary summary fault condition in which the
form “C” relay contacts on the auxiliary interface connector on the rear panel of the
amplifier will change position. This is generally used to test redundant operations in
both Xicom system and other customer designed configurations. Note: This does not
impede in any way the RF output of the amplifier; however, in redundant configurations
(when in automatic mode) the waveguide switch will flip causing a momentary
interruption in transmission.
