Switching the VPC
The VPC is a four position device it has four distinct modes of operation:
1.
Phase combined to the Antenna
2.
Amplifier “A” to the antenna, amplifier “B” to the load
3.
Amplifier “B” to the antenna, amplifier “A” to the load
4.
Phase combined to the load
Changing the VPC position is accomplished by either touching the top or bottom half
of the VPC icon or by touching the amplifier icon. The verification screen shown is
displayed when either the top half of the VPC or the amplifier “A” icon is touched.
This touch will change the RF routing of the “A” amplifier. Conversely touching the
bottom half of the VPC icon or touching the “B” amplifier icon will change the RF
routing of amplifier “B” (as shown in figure 5).
