TTL (Switch) Configuration (For All Traffic Data Types)

The

CRS

311

communicates

Redundant

and

Traffic

modems

via

serial

TTL

bus

contained

within

the

‐

“J9

Auxiliary”

connector

the

modem’s

rear

panel.

From the SLM-5650/5650A front panel menu, navigate to Config: Remote

SerialConfig.

Set Interface to TTL (SWITCH).

Set Format to 8N1.

Set Baudrate to 9600 Baud.

Verify that Traffic Modem is ONLINE and the Redundant Modem is OFFLINE.
