Officer emergency call
At activated “attendance”, an officer emergency call will be initiated when the call button is pressed.
At inactive “attendance”, the system ignores the call. The call button has to be connected to one input
(“E1” to “E8”), in contrast the key switch has two switching positions (“attendance 1” and “attendance
2”) and has to be connected to two inputs (“E1” to “E8”). In addition, the officer emergency call can be
initiated automatically by an elapsed time when “attendance 2” is activated. For further information

The system indicates officer emergency calls as emergency calls with a short buzzer interval. If “cancel
on site” is defined for the officer emergency call, the call is not cancelled after it had been answered
(building up a conversation). Instead of that, the system acknowledges the receipt of the call and turns
the buzzer signal off. The officer emergency call can only be cancelled by the “attendance function”
(
see ”Attendance function” on page 14
). But this is only possible after the call had been acknowledged
from the inquiry station.
Carry out the following configuration in CCT 800to activate the function “officer emergency call”:

Prison cell calls and officer emergency calls can also be combined at one input. At inactive “attend-
ance”, the system cancels standard cell calls, and at active “attendance”, the system initiates an officer
emergency call.
Carry out the following configuration in CCT 800 to activate the function “prison cell calls with officer
emergency call”:

If “Prison cell call with officer emergency call” was configured, “Officer emergency call” has to be config-
ured with another input. This means: For the button with “Call 1”, “Prison cell call with officer emergency
call”, and for the button with “Call 2”, “Officer emergency call” have to be configured – otherwise the “Of-
ficer emergency call” does not work.
