Muting Your Telephone

By using the MUTE button, you can block transmission of your voice
to the distant party. For example, if someone comes into your office to
talk to you and you do not want to interrupt the distant party, press the
MUTE button. The MUTE button turns on when you press it and
turns off when you press it again.

•

To mute your telephone,

— press and engage MUTE (MUTE light turns on).

•

To return to the distant party,

— press and disengage MUTE (MUTE light turns off).
